Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin pop mainstream has been impacted by his global popularity. The 2016 smash Una Lady Como Tu was the winner of a Colombian Kids Choice Award for Favorite Song in 2017. The year after Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and also released ADN as his debut full-length album. The album reached number 8 in the Top Latin Albums Chart. Vaina Loca was one of the Top Five hit for Ozuna and for him in the following year. He was a part of the team alongside Noriel in the song Mala Influencia in the year 2020. He in the year following, he dropped his sophomore album charting Dopamina. In 2021, he sang a duet. the singer sang a duet 2021 with TINI in her smash hit Maldita Foto. 2000 also saw the huge record La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo was brought up in a musical environment, as both his mother & his older brother are musicians. According to him, musicality was an integral aspect of his daily life. As a child he learned how to play the saxophone, as well as piano and ukulele. The first goal was to be a vet, but after his brother Julian was convinced to let him attend singing lessons from a Cuban musician, he rearranged his career plans.
